THE STORY

Admittedly, this was one of those obscure requests that came through that we were commonly not given a ton of information on. We still are not sure where this ended up, but we play the hand we are dealt - even if it is in the dark, and we can't see the lego waiting for our foot!

THE PERFORMANCE

The best that we could do was make this generic for multi-use purposes. We believe this was meant to be a stamp on some product, but the request evolved this into a frankenstein of other designs that must have stemmed from a marriage of microsoft paint and canva.

For the safety of our audience, we are not going to subjugate you to that. Rather, we are going to showcase what we believe was the strongest option.

Since we were not given a ton of direction on the function, purpose, or medium this would be used on, it slowly evolved into a political / industrial concept. We wanted a typeface that represented both the strength and sophistication that Ohio has to offer, but also tie in the industry of the rustbelt area.

We showcased it in a few different ways, so even if it never saw the light of day with the requestor- it gets its day in the sun here.
