Choice Legal Funding is a company that provides the money you need NOW to cover life’s necessities, such as paying your bills, rent or mortgage, medical procedures, and other living expenses, as you wait for your lawsuit case to settle. They are a New York company but serve nationwide.

THE PERFORMANCE

We were approached with unlimited direction on which to create this. We wanted to keep it close to the branding they had already created, but were told to seem familiar as their competition. There was still a desire to become more modern and cleaner than the others.

The result was thinking of an icon that tells their story of how they help people. They protect you from destitution during a tough period in life. They shield you from totally financially collapsing while the lawyers figure out the chess board. A shield became the no-brainer.

The choice to make the main part of the logo lowercase was similar to Custom Shark's approach - the desire to be bold, but humble. The secondary part of the logo's typefaces was meant to represent the modern sharpness of the counselors there to help you.
